The Saha Way

Obesity is a complex, metabolic disease that has reached epidemic proportions in US affecting as many as 40% of population.

Health consequences of obesity can be serious but even modest weight loss (of 10-15% of body weight) can have a significant positive impact on metabolic health such as blood sugar levels, cholesterol levels, and blood pressure. When you show love to your body, your body loves you back!

The Saha Core Program is a one year long, multidimensional lifestyle intervention program. The program combine insights from medicine, nutrition and cognitive behavioral coaching and is proven to be effective* both at losing weight and maintaining weight loss. (*Individual results may vary).

The initial, intense weight loss phase or “sprint’ aims to create a balanced caloric deficit and serves as a ‘metabolic reset’. Medically supervised, Total Meal Replacement is a commonly used dietary strategy.

Diet, physical activity, restful sleep and stress management strategies are gradually layered in the program. Medication support is added, based on medical necessity.

Once desired weight is achieved we seamlessly blend into the ‘marathon’ or ‘weight maintenance’ phase.

The Saha Core Program can be customized to individual goals and medical needs. The initial meeting is usually in person but to create more flexibility and ease of follow up, subsequent visits are done through telehealth platform.

Keeping with our brand name, the goal is not just weight loss, but losing weight in the most ‘healthful’ manner. We aim for progress, not perfection. Our focus is on sustainable lifestyle changes . We’re dedicated to supporting you in your journey toward long-term health and well-being.
